The Oulu Sauna Boards take you to the middle of the Oulu River landscape. The sauna on the waves combines Finnish tradition and nature - first you enjoy the gentle sauna baths, then you cool off in the river water or on the deck admiring the scenery. On a cruise, the sauna experience takes on a new dimension as the city opens up from a whole new perspective.

Koivuranta Sauna Ferry - A traditional sauna experience on the waves of the Oulu River

Koivuranta ferry offers a traditional Finnish sauna experience right in the heart of the Oulu River. The gentle suds of the raft combine Finnish sauna culture, beautiful river scenery and a relaxed atmosphere.

During the summer season (1.5.-1.10.), the public sauna is open without prior reservation. In winter, the sauna also includes a refreshing open-air bath, which is always included in the price of the sauna. You can also take a separate dip in the open-air pool whenever the pool is open (€3 per session). In addition, the sauna board organises public cruises, combining the traditional sauna with river scenery and a maritime experience.

Lainesauna - a sauna board adventure in the heart of the Oulu River

Loan sauna is a traditional Oulu sauna ferry waiting for you in Saarela Harbour - just a stone's throw from the city centre, but a million miles from everyday life. The sauna can accommodate more than 15 people at a time. The ferry can be booked privately for a group of up to 25 people at the dock or for a cruise along the Oulu River for 12 people. The rooftop terrace and indoor lounges offer space to relax, and the sauna offers direct access to the river - refreshing water in summer, open water in winter.

General shifts take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 18:00 to 21:00. You should bring a swimsuit and towel (rental 5 €). Minors are welcome with an adult.

Olosauna - a modern village sauna in Oulu

Outdoor sauna is a modern village sauna in Oulu's Hietasaari, just two kilometres from the city centre. Set in a beautiful riverside setting, the sauna offers 1.5-hour sauna shifts, separate changing rooms for men and women, and year-round access to the atmosphere of a traditional Finnish sauna. The experience is complemented by a café, cultural events and the refreshing atmosphere of the Oulu River.
